Lessons
Russian Overtones provides both private and group lessons. We offer private lessons in piano, guitar, voice, violin; and group lessons in music theory, history and visual and performing arts, AP test classes. The recommended the age or 4 to start music, art or music awareness classes. When your child knows his/her ABCs and can count to five, he/she is ready!
Our early beginners are between three and four years old. Students of all ages are welcome.
Festivals and Exams
Various Regional and State Festivals are available every year. Every year our students play at San Marcos District Festival and earn points and gold cups. Then they proceed to the State Festival competition. We offer all three London Exams: Trinity Guildhall, LCM exams and ABRSM exams. Trinity Guildhall is conducted by Trinity Collage, London, UK. Every year a judge flies from London to examine candidates applying for an Internationally recognized certificates and diplomas. A students can apply up to 10 credit hours toward his/her college degree. Just ask us how. LCM stands for London College of Music and ABRSM stands for Associated Board of Royal School of Music. Please, ask your teacher about Theory and Practical Examinations held twice a year.
